DAM 390 – Agricultural Fertiliser

Composition, Appearance and Properties:

DAM 390 is a liquid nitrogen fertiliser containing 30% of nitrogen, from which one quarter is ammonium, one quarter nitric form and one half in amide form. It is formed by a solution of ammonium nitrate and urea. In 100 liters contains 39 kg of N, at 25 °C has a density of 1300 kg/m3, the salt-out temperature is -10 °C.

Chemical Composition:

Total Nitrogen content min. 30,0 %
Amidic Nitrogen content min. 15,0 %
Diluted solution pH (1+5) at 20°C 7,2 až 7,9

Application:

In order to determine the need for nitrogen fertilisation, it is recommended to use valid normatives and other objective diagnostic procedures (eg soil and plant analyses) taking into account organic fertilisation (manure, crop residues, compost) and pre-crop effects.

DAM 390 can be used for basic fertilisation, for fertilisation during growing season, for accelerated straw decomposition and to prepare a wide range of NPK suspensions. For basic nitrogen fertilisation during pre-sowing soil preparation, DAM 390 can be used for all crops, especially for spring crops.

It fits perfectly into the phosphorus and potassium concentration levels system in soils before sowing. It also finds good application in the system of minimum soil processing for intermediate crops. For seeds sensitive to higher ammonia nitrogen concentrations (clover, beets, etc.),  we do not recommend to use DAM 390 just before sowing.

Due to the fact that DAM 390 contains both, quick and slow-release forms of nitrogen, it can be used in spring prior to sowing (incorporated into the soil) and also in soils with good absorption properties once in a vegetative period (spring barley, oats and others). For additional fertilisation of crops during the vegetative period, it is used either as a concentrate (cereals, oilseed rape, grass covers) or diluted (for most other crops).

DAM 390 can be applied to non-flowering plants without limitation. Appropriate regulations for the protection of bees should be respected in use. The application of permitted DAM 390 combinations with chemical plant protection products provides an economic benefit.

Fertiliser Application Dosis in kg/ha:

Cereals 150 – 350
Root Crops 200 – 400
Oilseed Crops 250 – 350
Forage Crops 100 – 150
Vegetables 150 – 200

Storage:

The fertiliser is stored in special containers designed and built for this purpose, labeled with the fertiliser name. These containers are located in catchment tanks with a volume greater than the volume of the largest container with fertiliser in. During storage, the temperature must not exceed 80°C. When exceeded, then urea hydrolysis and pH increase occur. fertiliser dry matter formation on organic materials (paper, cloth, wood, sawdust, etc.) must be avoided.  Salt-out temperature is -10 ° C. Tanks, shipping containers and application equipment should be flushed with water immediately after use. This water or residue of application solutions shall not contaminate drinking water sources. It is necessary and very important to prevent the penetration of fertiliser into sewerage, into surface and underground water.

Public transport company regulations apply to public transport.
