AMOFOS NP 12-52 – Agricultural Fertiliser
Composition, Appearance and Properties:
Amofos is a granulated fertiliser imported mainly from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The essential ingredient is ammonium phosphate, which is obtained from the apatite concentrate by neutralising the phosphoric acid with ammonia. Products with varying nitrogen and phosphorus content are available. Of the total phosphorus content, minimum 40% is water-soluble P2O5. The granules are gray-white.
Chemical Composition:
Phosphorus content as P2O5 | min. 52,0 % |
---|---|
Nitrogen content as N (NH3) | 12 % ± 1,0 % |
Moisture in % H2O | max. 1,0 % |
Granules 1-4 mm | min. 95,0 % |
Granules below 1 mm | max. 3,0 % |
Granules above 6 mm | 0 % |
Application:
The fertiliser is recommended to be applied for autumn pre-sowing fertilisation with phosphorus. Because it is easily soluble in water, it is also suitable for regenerative fertilisation of winter cereals, especially on soils with a high potassium presence. It can be also used for compound fertilisers production.
